Romantic Spring Wedding at Eastern Yacht Club | Baltimore Wedding Photographer | Tab & James

Updated: May 7, 2020

Tabitha and James wedding day was a celebration so worth waiting for!! A beautiful mix of romantic elegance with vibrant joy. For me, it doesnt get any better than that.

One day I got a message from a gal that I met 8 years ago and she asks me to be her wedding photographer. That was the beginning of my journey with Tabitha and James, We had so many amazing conversations about life and how James came into her life and how happily ever after is made for everyone and Prince Charming always finds his Princess.

Let me start by saying that Tabitha is a powerhouse planner. She took care of every detail for hers and James wedding day and nailed it! From the invitation suite courtesy of Basic Invite to the super sweet wedding cake that Yia-Yia's created complete with cupcake table was styled perfectly to choosing all the Hotel Monaco, the Eastern Yacht Club and the family church where James and Tabitha met.

We started our day at the Hotel Monaco In downtown Baltimore, Maryland. It's a gorgeous historic property with the most iconic white marble stairs that EVERY bride dreams about having her first look and wedding photos taken on. Tabitha and James both decided to do a first look and the get as much portrait work completed prior to the ceremony. Not every couple wants a first look, and I support that 100%. Sometimes it just works for the wedding day and there are times when it doesn't. This time it worked out perfectly. Seeing my sweet friend walking down the stairs to see her soon to be husband made me well up with the happiest of tears. From there we drove to the Abbott Memorial Presbyterian Church, the church where Tabitha and James met. The ceremony was absolutely beautiful! The Church as this incredible staircase that leads down from the bridal suite with the most lovely stained glass windows. What I love about old churches, especially in Baltimore City are the design and layouts. They have incredible character are are just as unique as the families that call them home. The pews were full of family and close friends all brought together by Tabitha and James and we sealed the deal at the end with a confetti canons!!

The reception was held at the Eastern Yacht Club in Essex, Maryland. I've shot at this venue so many times and it always feels like home when I go back there. It has a laid back ballroom space with an upstairs full bridal suite ( that is one of my personal favorite spaces) and a gorgeous waterfront spot perfect for your waterfront ceremony if you choose. The best part about this venue is the it is VERY affordable! So if you're looking for an all in one waterfront wedding venue on the Baltimore area capable of accommodating 150+ guests, go see Eastern Yacht Club.

Tabitha & James reception was nothing short of a legit party. What better way to celebrate your wedding day with your favorite, people, your family, great music, food....and cake from Yia Yia's Bakery!

I can not say enough wonderful things about this wedding day so I figured I'd let Tabitha & James wedding day photos tell the story much better than I can.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Tabitha and James!
