Spring Wedding at La Banque de Fleuve | Kaitlyn & Kevin| Havre de Grace Wedding Photographer

There are just some people that enter your life and they are meant to be there forever. The movement I met Kaitlyn and Kevin I had this feeling about them and revisiting their wedding day on their anniversary made that feeling so much clearer. Over the years we have consistently stayed in each others lives as good friends and every time I get to see these two I hug them so tight and my heart is beyond overwhelmed with happiness. They are two of my sweetest friends and it all began with an engagement session in Georgetown, Washington DC which led to their wedding day in Havre de Grace at La Banque de Fleuve.

La Banque de Fleuve is located along the waterfront in Havre de Grace, Maryland. They have two spaces available for you next event. The seaplane base the the bank one outdoor with a tented reception area the other indoors. Kim Barth and the team at La Banque are truly a class act and every time I'm photographing at this space, I know my couples are in the best hands in town for their wedding day.

I remember this day so vividly. The ladies got ready at the La Banque, while the guys had gotten ready at the hotel. The weathering Maryland can be...interesting to say the least. We had a pop up storm come in off the water and it was a torrential downpour. The ceremony was all set up the the skies opened. I was at space for the reception the this happened and I pitched in the the venue staff to move things, get table cloths off the ground and squeegee the water from the floor.Kim and her team are literal wedding day MVPs. After the rain subsided, I went to see Kaitlyn in the bridal room to see how she was doing. No bride wants rain on their wedding day and I was worried about her. When I arrived, all the girls were kicked back drinking wine and so chill. I gave her a status update and she was so laid back and easygoing, it was all good.

The venue was cleared and reset back up in record time and we were all systems go for Kaitlyn and Kevins dream wedding day! Rain is a blessing on a wedding day. Once the storm clouds clear, you have the most perfect incredible light and contrasty skies. A photographers dream light situation!!

This wedding day was full of so many smilies and so much laughter. You can see how much Kaitlyn and Kevin love each other and how incredibly happy they are together!
