Shannon & Jesse - Walkers Overlook - Frederick Maryland Wedding Photographer

Reflecting back on meeting Shannon for the first time, I remember it was over the phone. I remember us talking about EVERYTHING other than wedding photography for a solid hour and then the last few minutes going through the formality of booking. I couldn't wait for her wedding date to arrive to meet this super lovable girl who was full of life and joy and was so ready to marry the love of her life. She called me a few days before her wedding day to let me know that she had a misstep the weekend before on her bachelorette party trip and broke her heel bone and that she was going to be in a boot on her wedding day. She literally could not walk on her own. I told her don't worry, I've got this!! In your photos you will barely see any evidence of the boot. When I arrived at Walkers Overlook, I had my game plan in place and all I wanted to do was give that girl and big ol' hug and reassure her that everything is going to go perfectly.....and it did. Her vivid blue color palette, to the reception decor, to the bridesmaids dresses....every detail was 100% perfection! There were so many happy tears, so much laughter and loads of smilies!! All of her photos turned out incredible and I am so blessed to say that Shannon and Jesse and I have remained friends even after their wedding day and I can not wait to be back in Maryland to see these two amazing souls again soon!
