Chelsea & James were super stoked that we could fit in their engagement session before my end of year session cut off. We talked about a couple locations and we decided to head down to Sagamore Spirit Distillery in Baltimore, Maryland for their fall engagement session. The Sagamore Distillery is part of the recently reinvigorated waterfront Port Covington area thanks to Under Armor for choosing that location for their headquarters. I'm a born in Baltimore girl and I've seen this city go through a lot of changes some good, some bad; I have to say The Port Covington area is definitely one of the good changes over the years.
I'm a huge supporter of local businesses - especially local breweries and local distilleries. Sagamore Spirit is a Whiskey Distillery offering tours and tastings throughout the week. There is a tavern on the grounds with a restaurant which is incredible. I found some of the best bartenders using small batch spirits elevating the usual drinks to new levels using the best ingredients. I met Chelsea and Scott in the tavern and we had a cocktail to warm us up a bit. I had the BEST Rum and Coke I've ever had in my life. So good that I used the rum bottle for Chelsea's ring shots. The grounds of the distillery matched Chelsea & James' laid back Baltimore style and I can not wait to see them later this year for their wedding day!!
