Lauren & Mike's wedding day was a masterclass in Country/Chic wedding events. He: a professional bull rider. She: slaying life in the medical world! I first met Lauren when she was a bridesmaid in Shannon & Jesse's wedding the year before, so, when she messaged me about being her wedding photographer, there was no question. I said YES!! Lauren and Mike decided to have their wedding at her grandfathers farm, just outside Frederick, Maryland and it was a dream!! I arrived at her mommas house where she was getting ready and immediately saw so many faces I knew and loved, including Shannon! the bridal details were a little glitzy, a little country and 100% Lauren! The groom and groomsmen were across the field getting ready at her grandfathers house. Walking in, all the guys were in dark denim, crisp white dress shirts, black dress jackets, big belt buckles and hats. Now THAT is a look y'all!! This wedding day was full of laughter, tears, and lots of Natty Boh beer! No Maryland wedding should really be without it... the dance floor was consistently packed with loads of boot stomping and the bridal party finally got me to take shots with them. Its incredible to meet and connect with people so that they don't feel like clients, they are your friends. Thats what I love about being a wedding photographer. It's not work - it's coming in to serve dear friends and take care of them, and their family on such an important day. oh, I almost forgot... I even ran into one of my 2015 couples...Sammy and Ken!! I had not seen them since their wedding and it was so good to see them and catch up!! Turns out Sammy and Lauren work together! Small-timore...it's real! I am based out of New Orleans, Louisiana and Baltimore, Maryland and an always ready for the next adventure. I have travel and worked all over the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. My approach to photography is very non-posed focusing on relationships, not a static 20 poses, and most importantly putting YOU first!
I travel at minimum monthly for weddings, portrait work and with digital creators all around the US and internationally.
