Remembering Chloe and Scott's wedding day Brough such sweet memories back to my mind. . It was late autumn and we woke up to an early snowfall in Western Maryland. Weddings in Maryland in November, the weather can be mild to absolutely Winter-like. On their wedding day, it felt more like Winter. I was thankful for clear skies and a little white powder on the ground. Shooting a "winter wedding" is something that doesn't happen to often for me and when all the factors come together perfectly....we get a beautiful snowy wedding day! Seeing Chloe for the first time, I could see what Scott sees in her. She is kind. gracious, and lets face it, a gorgeous redhead! I may be a little biased on the redhead part...
Arriving in the bridal suite at the Morningside Inn I found all of her wedding day details together and dresses ready to be photographed. Her bridal bouquet floored me! Bealls Florists work complimented the bridal party colors and the tone of the day to perfection. I still gush over these florals!! All the girls were getting their finishing touches to hair and makeup and we decided to have her bridesmaids get into their dresses while Chloe's mom helped her into her gown so that she could surprise her girls with a bridal party first look! I love these first looks so much!! Next we had Chloe's Dad come in and see her for the first time as a Bride. This moment was such a standout memory for me. Seeing the close relationships Chloe has with her family and friends and documenting it, is everything to me. <3
The ceremony took place indoors due to the chilly weather and soon thereafter, the reception began. I was so grateful for a little snow on the ground and a beautiful golden hour sunset light. It complimented Chloe's complexion and made her red locks light up. Chloe and Scott were such naturals in front of the lens. We didn't have an opportunity to do an engagement session before their wedding day, but, they completely knock their wedding day portraits out of the park!
