Mini Session Day - Portrait Event

Hi y'all!! Tracie here! Last year I did a thing. Since the weather is breaking here on the East Coast and thoughts are turning the cool Autumn days, apple picking, cider, pumpkins and cool walks by the water, I thought it was appropriate to start planning. For the first time in 4 years I offered a mini session day. I had so many requests for quickie portrait sessions in the Fall, it made perfect sense and I sold out my session day in record time! I know everyone offers mini-sessions but I wanted to do them a little differently. I grew up in Harford County Maryland, Joppatowne, to be specific. This small piece of America is where I'm from. It's a place where just about everyone knows everyone, we get together on Saturdays at Baldwin's the local crab house, or meet for a drink at the Town Grill and Pub and we ALL grew up fishing and boating and doing just about everything around the water. See, we're a pretty rad waterfront community and it literally made me the person I am today. I wanted to do a day of mini sessions in my hometown and offer them not only to my amazing loyal clients and friends but I wanted to offer them to the families of my hometown. Community, is a big deal, without it who are we all really. Well, this community is a place where I volunteer and give back whenever I can. Weather its shooting Joppatowne High School's Alumni Association events or coming in for homecoming football games, or the basketball team, the cheerleaders, the band. You name it, I support it and when my schedule allows me, I attend for the kids and give back for those kids by doing what I do best - Photographing thier achievements. Around the holidays, you can find me driving around towne photographing the luminaries along out streets on Christmas Eve night and posting images for the community. This year, I added volunteering with the local Lion's Club at their first annual Pet Festival. Even though this crazy life is taking me all over the United States, I never for get my roots!
