Spring Classic Wedding Hayfields Country Club | Towson Wedding Photographer | Elizabeth & Phillip

Updated: May 9, 2020

Everyone knows, I am not a writer. Yet, when I find my self in this position, perched on my bed surrounded by my insane Labrador Retrievers trying to collect my thoughts and reflections on a wedding day that I bore witness to, my task for writing seems to come a bit easier.

There are love stories that are told on a wedding day, then there is Elizabeth and Philips wedding day love story. I can not recall a wedding that was filled with more tears of joy, smiles, laughter and just the most amazing joining of two families on a gorgeous Spring day on the east coast. The couples said their I do's in their church surrounded by everyone in this life that supported them, loved them and lifted them up in grace. Seeing Philip in his perfectly classic tuxedo standing at the alter waiting for Elizabeth to walk down the aisle lead by her father, that anticipation of that moment , seeing her for the first time, made me so happy that they opted to not do a first look. His tearful reaction to seeing his Bride as his princess in white, wearing the veil her mother wore on her wedding day made everyones hearts skip. Seeing this connection throughout the couples wedding day from the church to our portrait session to first dances and toasts at the reception, that connection was on display for everyone to see. Even in photos, you can see it. It's pure magic. As the couple was announced and they took the dance floor for the first time, Phillip twirled Elizabeth around and around to show off that stunning gown and dipped her deep for a perfect kiss. The Hayfields, provided an impeccable backdrop for the couples reception and sunset portraits. The rolling hills of the golf course and lovely willow trees, ponds and stone bridges gave us so many places to shoot at! The couples opted to have glow necklaces and glow wands for some dance floor shenanigans and a killer sparkler exit with that signature twirl signaled the end to one of the most memorable, beautiful weddings of my career..

My goal is to create moments that are not in existence for you yet. I crave to crate connections with my couples as clients AND as friends. As we embark on this wild ride to “I Do”, WE are going to live our lives out loud showing all the vibrance, joy, and many shades of colorful love you share with the world.

I am based out of New Orleans, Louisiana and Baltimore, Maryland and an always ready for the next adventure. I have travel and worked all over the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. My approach to photography is very non-posed focusing on relationships, not a static 20 poses, and most importantly putting YOU first!

I travel at minimum monthly for weddings, portrait work and with digital creators all around the US and internationally. So, if your dream wedding day is romantic, colorful, offbeat, on a farm, in the city, at a manor, at the bottom of a canyon or on a glacier, I am ready to rock out with you and pour you a glass of champagne to celebrate these magical moments with you. To get the lowdown on my upcoming travel dates or when I’ll be in a town near you, drop me a message here to set up your personalized travel portrait/elopement/engagement session with me!
