Part of the amazing that my job gives me, is the opportunity to photograph all over the incredible city and knowing how to successfully shoot all parts of a New Orleans wedding is invaluable. Que my first conversation with Hilah.
Hilah and Rud met while working in New Orleans and like most of us, work and life takes us all over the states. So when Rud asked Hilah to marry him, and she said yes, there was no other place to have their wedding but New Orleans!! Their old neighborhood off St. Charles Avenue held so many memories and was such a huge part of their love story, it had to play a role in the wedding! All of their family and friends came to town and my heart hasn't been the same since! These two are an unstoppable source of energy, vibrance, joy and are madly in love. They are the perfect Photography by Tracie couple! From the bridal party getting ready in the Marigny to the ceremony at Christ Church Cathedral to second lining to Portside Lounge in the neighborhood where they lived together all the way to the Reception at Central City BBQ.
Let me just gush about the team at Central City BBQ. First of all ,the food is so freaking good!!! They have a ton of space for outdoor seating and a ballroom type space with plenty of room for a band and 200+ of your closest friends and family to wine it down allll night long. The space has an industrial kind of feel which I love because of ability to dress it up or dress it down. My goal is to create moments that are not in existence for you yet. I crave to crate connections with my couples as clients AND as friends. As we embark on this wild ride to “I Do”, WE are going to live our lives out loud showing all the vibrance, joy, and many shades of colorful love you share with the world.
I am based out of New Orleans, Louisiana and Baltimore, Maryland and an always ready for the next adventure. I have travel and worked all over the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean. My approach to photography is very non-posed focusing on relationships, not a static 20 poses, and most importantly putting YOU first!
I travel at minimum monthly for weddings, portrait work and with digital creators all around the US and internationally.
